Showcasing the Boon’ family heritage and a desire to bring customers closer to that warm, family feeling—that is what Boon’s Markt aimed for in their new concept. The family has been running the small chain of supermarkets for over 125 years and takes pride in their local products.
We decided to take a ‘fresh arena’ approach to highlight their beautiful fresh products, so we upgraded the floor plan so a customer feels being in a ‘world of fresh’. To enhance the customer experience and evoke the feeling of the Boon family, we added a ‘Taste Garden’ to showcase special local produce and share the unique stories behind the products. The additional communication within the store emphasizes the fresh produce and highlights the collaboration with local farmers.
