What we do in Home & DIY retail
We develop complete store concepts for DIY and home improvement retail: department logic and adjacencies, project-based presentation, self-service versus counter service, drive-in and yard areas, and the wayfinding that keeps a 10,000 square metre box legible.
For businesses serving trade professionals, we design the speed lane: fast pick-up, strong counters and service that respects a pro's time. We also design showrooms for kitchens, bathrooms and flooring where inspiration and specification meet, turning browsers into appointments and appointments into orders.

The best home and DIY formats serve two customers at once: the professional who wants to be in and out in five minutes, and the consumer who needs guidance and inspiration. For Boels we designed exactly that, one store with two speeds. Separating the fast from the considered journey, without doubling the footprint, is a recurring theme in our sector work.

Yes. Most of our DIY and builders merchant concepts serve both, with dedicated fast routes and counters for pros alongside an inspiring consumer journey. For our Boels case, we divided two service routes. One for professionals and one for consumers.

Yes. Our remodeling kits are able to phase the conversion department by department, so revenue continues while the store transforms.
