A premium banner for everyday meals
SPAR asked us to develop a premium convenience concept under the SPAR Gourmet banner, aimed at consumers seeking quality, freshness and inspiration for their everyday meals. The challenge sat in the combination: the store had to feel refined and elevated, yet work at the pace of a quick daily shop. Neither a delicatessen nor a supermarket, but deliberately in between.



Quick to shop, rich in choice
The format pairs the ease of quick shopping with a high quality, curated assortment. Fresh food and ready to eat solutions form the core, surrounded by carefully selected premium products. The range is edited rather than endless, so customers find inspiration for tonight's meal in minutes, not aisles.

Craft, taste and local roots
Clear navigation carries the customer through the store, while the design puts craftsmanship and taste on stage: fresh preparation is visible, products are presented with care, and local relevance anchors the concept in its South African context. The result is a store where premium does not mean distant, but simply better every day.
